Movie Monday

Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue Jan. 21. This free event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Complimentary popcorn will be available upon request for adults and young people accompanied by an adult. This film may not be appropriate for young people. This week’s PG-13 rated, 100 minute film stars Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell. Kay and Arnold are a devoted couple, but decades of marriage have left Kay wanting to spice things up and reconnect with her husband. When she hears of a renowned couple’s specialist in the small town of Great Hope Springs, she attempts to persuade her skeptical husband, a steadfast man of routine, to get on a plane for a week of marriage therapy. Just convincing the stubborn Arnold to go on the retreat is hard enough; the real challenge for both of them comes as they shed their bedroom hang-ups and try to re-ignite the spark that caused them to fall for each other in the first place. Call the library at 723-4650 for the exact title of this and other movies in this series as the library’s movie license does not permit listing the titles of movies outside the library.
