Erie Bethel 55, TCCS 35

ERIE – Tidioute Community Charter School fell to 0-7 on the year with a 55-35 road loss to Erie Bethel Thursday night, in a game that the Bulldogs led after the first quarter.

“Both teams had trouble making shots early on. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep up in the second quarter,” said Tidioute coach Dave Manning. “We had some trouble with their press, and it took away some of the momentum we had going. It’s a smaller court (at Erie Bethel). Everything is very compact, and we had a hard time getting through.”

Brian Faulkner put together a solid game for the Bulldogs, leading the way with 13 points in the loss. Ben Kightlinger finished with eight points, and Jordan Yeager added six.

Tidioute will continue to look for it’s first win Tuesday when it travels across the county to Sheffield for a match-up with the Wolverines.
