Erie Bethel 47, WCCS 34

Carson Moore’s season-high 24 points kept the Lions close, but Erie Bethel ultimately proved to be too much for the Warren County Christian School during a 47-34 loss Tuesday at WCCS.

Moore was all over the court for WCCS, scoring early and often and also crashing the boards on both ends of the court. Josh Wagonseller added six points to go with Moore’s big game and Eric Sorenson added four points of his own.

WCCS boys coach Tom Jones also credited the strong defensive efforts of Tommy Jones and Trevor Phelps.

No junior varsity game was played.

The Lions (0-5) will look for their first victory of the season Tuesday when they host Erie First Christian.
